BTC index methodology

The Invexiq BTC-INR index is computed every second from several spot exchanges. Each source price is converted to INR at the USD/INR reference rate, outliers are removed against the median, and the remaining prices are combined with volume weights. A source that stops updating is dropped until it recovers; if too few sources remain, the index is flagged as degraded and the last good value is held.

Mark and settlement prices

Mark prices (used for margin and liquidation) follow the index plus a smoothed basis, so a single trade cannot move them. Futures and options settle against the time-weighted average of the index over the 30 minutes before expiry.
